PROFESSIONAL WATCHES™ Luxury Watches Basel Highlights - Fake watches

Every spring the city of Basel Switzerland hosts the largest wristwatch exhibit in the world - Baselworld. It is a place where watch retailers, collectors, enthusiasts and journalists travel, from all over the world - to view the latest wristwatch collections. From many of the world’s top wristwatch brands (17 other top watch brands exhibit separately at SIHH).

During my five days in Basel this past March, I viewed hundreds of watches, ranging from $500 quartz watches, to watches with prices that are almost inconceivable. Of the watches that I actually viewed in-person, these are a few of my personal favorites.

I. Corum “Admiral’s Cup Black Challenge 44″- classic design, practical 44mm width and sporty black on white contrasting dial.

II. Zenith “Classic El Primero Chronograph”- Retro design and a robust in-house “El-Primero” chronograph movement.

IV. Breitling “Navitimer”- classic good looks, beautiful dial and NFL player fame.

V. TX “800 Series”- linear chronograph minutes display, super-soft rubber strap and a great fit and finish.

VI. TAG Heuer “Calibre 36 RS Chronograph”- 1/10th of a second legibility on a mechanical chronograph and one of TAG’s best avante-garde designs to-date.

VII. MB&F “HM3″- beautiful, and just so different than anything else out there.

The Hublot One Million Dollar Diamond Big Bang is already sold, but the owner was nice enough to allow Hublot to display it at their Baselworld booth this year. Of course it was under the condition that it would be protected by a self-concealing Raptor Alarm system. TimeZone.com “Hublot” moderator Amir raised the watch for about a minute so we could snap some pics and then lowered it right away. More pics coming……

And to everyone else, thanks for your thought provoking responses. Out of nowhere, I now am thinking "How can I get a No Date Sub and maybe a WG DD with president bracelet". It’s a sickness, really. The meteorite Daytona calls to me in my sleep sometimes, though. Really, it’s like a soft, St Thomas breeze wafting into my bedroom singing "buy me… buy me…"
